is this something that you can do on your own or do you need to get outside help

Good Question Kyle. The answer is both and it depends on your level of involvement. Most people do well reaching out for help. It doesn’t always have to be professional help, but a professional can offer insight that other can’t. There are many potential ways to get help: family, friends, religious leaders, books, educational CD’s, professional therapists, and groups. The most important thing is to do something and become an advocate for yourself. You don’t have to let this behavior ruin your life.
